DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST NJIKOKA II CONSTITUENCY IN THE 2023 HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ELECTION IN ANAMBRA STATE

I am writing to formally inform you of my intention to run for Njikoka II constituency in Anambra State house of Assembly for the 2023 general election.

I am a native of Ezi-Abba village, Abba in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State, with all the prerequisites for the election.

My purpose in seeking a seat in the State House of Assembly is in line with my personal ambition and civic responsibility of working

towards the betterment of the lives of our people. It is important for me to note that the incumbent in the person of Chief Hon. (Dr.)

Sir Pete Ibida has done marvelously well in boosting human and capital development for our constituency. I believe he has served to make Njikoka II constituency a better place. I appreciate and thank him for all he has done, may God continue to bless him.

Now is the time I deemed it necessary to step forward to continue and consequently improve his accomplishment as an indigene of Anambra state since its creation.

As a one time TC Member of Njikoka Local government council and a supervisor for Agriculture. I found myself very fortunate to understand the dynamics of Njikoka Local Government Council and Anambra State at large.

We are known to be a Constituency filled with talented and highly educated people.

We therefore have what it takes to make Njikoka II thriving, economically viable, sustainable environment for our families, students, seasonal residents and others.

This is my first time of running for the position of State House of Assembly. So more than ever, I think it’s time to bring new ideas, progressive thinking and most importantly, progressive actions.

An able and effective State House Member for Njikoka II Constituency can ensure these results.

In announcing my intentions, I beckon  on Umu-owelle clan namely; Nimo, Abagana and Abba to give me favorable support in my quest to enact positive laws for human capital development. I pledge to

abide by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and by the INEC guidelines. The decision of our dear party "APGA" is sacrosanct in my quest.

In the coming weeks and months, we shall announce our people oriented programs and manifesto.

Thanks for your anticipated support, while I remain at your service.

Yours Truly,

Hon. Jude Akpua

(Omekannia Abba)
